Blog Post #5:
This is more analyzination of how technology has changed society's expectations of mass media and culture.
Society's expectations on mass media and culture have become great. For instance, I've been keeping up with ENews all day long with the Grammys. It's live streamed on Facebook and Instagram with up to the minute news about the fashion looks of celebrities like Cardi B, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and many more. I love this kind of stuff. I'm not the only one that expects it from the media. There's the word expect. Let's put that in pink so we can all see it and understand better that there's the thing with today: technology has changed society's expectations of mass media and culture. It has mine. Look at me waiting on them to do their jobs and if they don't? There will be tons of disappointed folks across the globe who were all waiting in their studio apartments or glitzy mansions or at the bar or around the family dinner table (does that even exist anymore?) to see what they all wore and sang and said. Who's got the best look for the night? Who didn't? Who clashed, trashed, and/or surpassed expectations? Culture for celebrities may be more visual than the average Cindylouwho but it's still the same across the board. Up to the minute news is expected. There's that magical word again.
