The plan for how to improve some of the technology or cultural limitations:

 The Plan!

 There's always a plan. A way made possible for others to follow suit so something continues to work out is my short definition of a plan. Technology has come so far (to say the least) in a super short time and it's difficult to keep up with (if you're trying to keep up with the Jones' or now- the Kardashians lol). I digress . . .. Anyhow, the many changes, as I was saying, is that media companies will have to incorporate new skills (job skills, if you wish) into their game plan. Pretty much every business has to in order to maintain their current market, much less a future market. Without change and a plan to change, at some point- there might not be a business. Sad to think about but true and it's already happening.  For example, Gap Inc. announced its plans to separate into two companies: unnamed company A and Old Navy, which is already a spin-off from several years back. I know this because I spent six years of my life at the Gap and loved it. So it's a hard thing to welcome in some ways; although, I know that without a plan, Gap will fail and I don't want that to happen!!! The skills that modern communicators need are the following: "writing, reading, coding, social media engagement, social media experimentation, understanding what makes news, speed, graphic design, continuing ed, and humor" (Reid, 2012).  All of these things must constantly be improved upon and pretty much have to be included in any plan. I'm no tech expert by any means but I have to keep up with it in jobs and personal life skills to make it. And so do you and by you- I mean every body. That's it. This is my blog and the end of this course.

Benefits & Limitations of  technological developments in mass media and these developments’ impact on culture I want to start out by sharing my discussion post on Twitter's business model and how its benefits and limitations affect the way media companies use news and communication.  According to Das Sourobh, "Twitter business model is similar to the business model of other social networks and requires users to create a profile and then those users can post short status updates or “tweets” under 280 characters" (2019).
